In early February, Foie Royale took the trip up to Newcastle to visit the Fenwick store to offer a tasting of our Duck Foie Royale vol-au-vents. We were greeted by the lovely and helpful staff there and put up right in the centre of the Food Hall.
We received an overwhelming response! Many people, both customers and staff, took notice, had a try of the dish, and were delighted by their experience . Many commented that they had stopped eating foie gras previously due to ethical reasons and were very happy to see there was now an alternative they could take advantage of. Many took great interest in the story of Foie Royale and how it is made.
“It’s great to meet the customers in person here, to know how engaging and complimentary they had been about the product throughout the day!”
Jessica Clark from Foie Royale
The day was a great success.
Without doubt, we will be going back up to Newcastle again soon. We welcome any opportunity to visit our partners to introduce an alternative to foie gras and help spread the message of Foie Royale, especially when they are as welcoming as the staff at Fenwick.
Fenwick and Foie Royale share the same values – offering the best, sustainable and ethical products to our customers – not only the product itself, but also its manufacturing process and the reason the product was created. We are delighted to be their business partner and welcome their forward-thinking and enthusiastic approach to our food and our service.
